HOLD- BP plc ADR (NYSE: BP) confirmed on Monday that William Lin, head of its gas and low-carbon energy division, is leaving as part of major restructuring under new chief executive Meg O'Neill.

- The departure comes at a time when the company is reeling from the removal of former chairman Albert Manifold last week amid accusations of 'bullying', with Ben Mathews, the company secretary, also on medical leave for stress, adding to the sense of turmoil at the top of the £80bn oil giant.
- The company is reorganising from three business units into two: downstream and upstream, with the unit previously run by Mr Lin merging into other parts of the company.
